5 Card Stud Poker
players.

Before the game begins all players have to pay the ante, which is the stake everyone must put into the pot before receiving any cards from the dealer. In this game there are a total of four betting rounds, and the game moves clockwise around the table. In all rounds there are a maximum of three re-raises and in the final round of betting there are four cards facing down and one card facing up in front of each remaining player.
All players are dealt two cards; one facedown and the other facing up. The player with the lowest face-up card starts the first betting round. Suits are valued (from lowest to highest): Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades. The players can do one of three things: fold (throw their hand away), call (bet the same amount as the current bet) or raise (bet an amount greater than the current bet).
In the second round of betting all players have received another face-up card. This time the player with the best visible hand starts the betting.
A third and fourth round of betting follows with the same principle follows. Finally there is the showdown where the player with the best hand wins and takes down the pot.
