Only one card deck is being used, and it is shuffled before each hand is dealt. You receive five cards and get to pick which cards to keep and which ones to discard. Discarded cards are replaced with new ones from the dealer. If you are holding a winning hand or not depend on which type of video poker you are playing. In all single-handed video poker games you get the chance to double up each time you have a winning hand by picking a card higher than the face up card. You can only do this five times each hand or until you have won 1000 coins.

In Jacks or Better you have to have Jacks or better to have a winning hand.

Joker Poker

In Joker Poker you have to have Kings or better to have a winning hand. The Jokers are wild and can be used in combination with your other cards to create winning hands. There are special payouts if you get five of a kind or Wild Royal with Joker.

Deuces Wild

In Deuces Wild you have to three of a kind or better to have a winning hand. All deuces are wild and have a value of 2. There are special payouts if you get five of a kind, Wild Royal with deuces or 4 deuces.
